The Los Locos Guides will provide Flies for both Marlin and Roosters, however if you wish to purchase or tie flies before your trip here are the recommendations:
Marlin: Blue over White Deceivers at 6-10 in (Most Used), Tan over White,
Black, pink/white are also options. Preferred Hooks: Ahrex SA270 or Gamakatsu SL12s 8/O (Owner Akis are another option)
Roosters: 4-6 in brown and white deceiver, blue and white deceiver, sardine and mullet imitations
Mornings start cold at 50 degrees and feel colder running offshore. Temps warm throughout most days to 80 degrees. The Pangas keep anglers dry for the most part but depending on the roughness you might get splashed so bibs and raingear prevent an uncomfortable ride!
